Personality & Temperament
The Vizsla is affectionate, sensitive, and deeply attached to its owner — often described as a velcro dog. They are gentle with children and generally sociable with other dogs. Their high energy level requires substantial daily exercise, and they do not cope well with being left alone for long periods. Vizslas are highly trainable and respond well to positive methods. They are best suited to active families who can provide close companionship and regular outdoor activity.
