AmStaffs are eager to please and highly trainable. They require early socialization and consistent training. They can be dog-aggressive and should be supervised around other dogs. Their short coat requires minimal grooming. AmStaffs thrive on human companionship and do not do well when isolated. They are athletic and require significant daily exercise.
