The Cane Corso is calm, confident, and intensely loyal to its family. They are naturally protective and tend to be reserved or wary around strangers, making thorough early socialization essential. They are intelligent and respond well to firm, consistent training from an experienced handler. Without proper guidance and boundaries, their size and assertiveness can become difficult to manage. Not recommended for first-time dog owners.
